I'm Tara Ferguson, founder of Onward With You. I spent over 20 years in senior HR roles at companies including PepsiCo, Unilever and Exscientia before setting up on my own. In 2023 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and going through treatment while working in HR made me realise just how much gets missed when organisations try to support someone through it. I built the Cancer Confidence Framework to close that gap: practical, evidence-based support that gives HR teams and line managers the confidence to get it right, drawing on my professional and personal skills and experiences.
