In 2024, Members of the HR Ninjas Community stepped forward and delivered a whopping 140 Meet Ups across the UK!
Our Members have been loud and clear about the desire to connect in-person and do networking differently. And so, this year we’ve been busy building new spaces to help local members connect and processes to ensure that any initiatives done in our name are aligned to the spirit of our community and within our Rules of Engagement.
So far this year, we’ve piloted Official HR Ninjas Local Meet Up Chats on WhatsApp in 32 Locations across the UK, received and verified over 1,200 registrations to join the chats, facilitated 59 Member Meet Ups and gathered our existing volunteer hosts into their own supportive WhatsApp Community to share their ideas and connect with HR Ninjas HQ - and it’s working!
We’ve seen more Members than ever reach out to find out how to get involved in both attending and hosting - it’s taken us some time to get to this point and look at where there are gaps in Meet Up Locations and be able to deal with the demand but this is us saying, we’re officially there now!
So, we're opening the door and handing you the mic!

"I’ve been running the HR Ninjas Basingstoke meet ups since March 2024.
I’d been searching the group for a meet up local to me & when I realised there wasn’t one, I asked if I could start one up & received lots of support (& Ninpins! 😜)
I love organising & hosting, it’s a great way to meet HR professionals local to me & the group has been going strong & attracting new people every time.
It’s a fab social space to have a good chat over a drink or 2 & meet other ninjas!
We help each other out with current projects we’re working on & share opinions & knowledge as well as having a few laughs & plenty of chatter that’s definitely not about work or HR!"

Christie, our Community & Ops Manager will take a look at your application form as soon as they can and assess whether they think this is a location where we have demand & we can support you to successfully run Meet Ups.

If we don't already have a waiting list of Members to attend Meet Ups in the location you've suggested then we'll work with you to gauge interest and commitment from our 37K+ Members. We know we can't host in every location that's suggested and if this is the case then we'll guide you to your nearest Meet Up and connect you to the Host in that area.

If we're in a position to move forward then we'll connect you with our community of Volunteer Hosts where you will automatically have a team of cheerleaders behind you who just get it and can share their ideas with you.

We'll invite you to a group call with other Volunteer Hosts and Christie from Ninjas HQ!

We'll share our Host Agreement and Host Pack with you.

Then you're good to go and get planning your first Meet Up and connect with your Local Ninjas!
